Q: How long will it take me to set up?
A: Once you complete the online application form and submit it, we will inform you immediately whether you have passed our initial assessment. We will then require you to pay the set-up fee online, which will become an annual charge thereafter (for advanced services, you will have to pay both set-up and annual charge immediately).
We will then request some supporting information from you (such as accounts) so that we may undertake a full risk assessment. Once this supporting information has been received, there will be a final decision within 1 working day.
If you pass the risk assessment procedure, a merchant agreement is drawn up, which you have to sign and return to WorldPay.
Q: How long do transactions take to authenticate and clear?
A: Transactions clear in a matter of seconds, and use a comprehensive range of security measures to authenticate a customer's card.
Q: Are there any goods or services that I cannot sell over the Internet using WorldPay?
A: Yes, the system does not allow the sale of pornographic material.

A: It is fully secure, and utilises a range of industry standard and unique security and fraud prevention systems, combined with fault tolerant secure server networks and firewalls. Our processing centre is securely linked to NatWest and other processing banks worldwide, which handle the credit card authorisations online and process the transactions in real time. It is now established that Internet payments in general are inherently more secure than other methods of making purchases in 'cardholder not present' situations, such as telesales, or even when giving a card to a waiter in a restaurant.
Q: Will I need to arrange secure server facilities for my web site?
