Telewest Communications and Cobweb Solutions, the e-service provider, formed a joint venture, blueyonder workwise Ltd, with the aim of revolutionising the delivery of e-economy services to Britain’s small businesses. The venture was launched at British Business 2000 and offered Britain’s first high-speed digital Internet access service for businesses through a cable modem.

Peter Wood, blueyonder workwise chairman, said: “The beauty of [our products] are that they will give small businesses big-business scale. It will allow them to compete on a level playing field technologically in the e-economy without the need for hugely expensive IT systems and management.”
The joint venture has evolved to offer a complete range of business broadband solutions specifically for small businesses to work more effectively via the Internet.
We are committed to be a key player in the ASP market for small businesses which is supported by the development of applications such as Hosted Microsoft Exchange with Outlook. |
